my roof on my 1998 a6 is white and its dirty in a few places.. i was wondering how should i go about cleaning it because every little liquid i put on there, even water it leaves it visibly indented.. like i mean the roof i soft to the touch and you can leave finger trails when you run your fingers through it so i dont want to mess it up. is there a certain way to clean of those dirty stains.. will water and a coton cloth work? or what do i need? soap and water?
thanks

Well, I once had some stains on my roof after some work was done. So, I used Simple Green, and scrubbed it off with new microfiber towel. It worked for me.
