can anyone help?

1)  i have manual top but owners guide only details power top operation.  are instructions out there?
2)  the fuse box confused me.  there are no 30A fuses in slot 5 or slot 20 which are for radiator fan per owner guide.  does anyone have fuses in those slots?  where are fuse locations numbered past 23?  i removed a fuse that i thought was extra but it was not.  however, i dont remember what AMP it was to replace it.  its one of the fuses that runs in front of the "main fuse row tree" in the horizontal position labeled "B" in onwers guide photo on page 136 and it plugs into a green colored outlet.  its the only green receptacle in my fuse box.  i stuck a 10A in there for now and it works but want to get right Amp in there.

The fuse box under the hood and the owners manual do not necessarily agree.  This is because there are differences for which country the car was made for.  Audi just wanted to confuse us.  There is an additional fuse and relay panel under the dash about where your left knee is on a US car.  Remove the lower left dash panel (4 bolts) and you will see it.  There may be a diagram on the back of this panel explaining what relays and fuses are in which slots.  Audi has a disclaimer that they may not necessarily put the fuse or relay where they said they would put it.  The 30A fan fuse is under there, as are a couple of the fan relays. The Top. Set the parking brake, open the Top Latch.  Open the small top compartment flaps and lift up on the levers.  Raise the cover and fold the top into the compartment. See owner's manual pic I have enclosed for my '95 Cab.

thanks that hels greatly.  playing around with top i got it working.  kind of a pain with only 1 person but doable.  i will check the other fuse box you mention.  do you have a 1997 cab?  i still have a fuse that i took out that i am not sure is replaced with proper Amp.  i wanted to run down fuse positions and Amps with someone who can go in and check their fuse box and compare notes.  let me know.  thanks again.

I have a '95 Cab, but the Bentley's manual covers all years. Buy an owner's manual on ebay.   I'll PM you with my email and will help as best I can
