Default wiper blade removal

I did the search about the topic but can't find any answers. Most posts were regarding wiper blade issues, broken clip, aero wiper, wiper arm... etc. I need instructions on how to remove non-aero blades.

I bought a pair wiper blades (not just the inserts, but the whole set of blade) from dealer for total of $28 (Paul Miller Audi). Can someone please give me instructions on how to remove wiper blade and what should I be aware to avoid broken clip?

Thanks.

I just changed my wifes. Best to do it when it's not cold the plastic is very brittle. Lift the blade arm. Where the blade attaches to the arm there is a small knock-out area. Press this area in, I think on the upper side (top of the arm from you when are lifting the blade). This little "tab" should pop up/disengage. Remove the blade by slightly sliding the blade down. To install reverse procedure. Take your time to make sure the blade is seated properly in the wiper arm during install. Don't press down too hard on the Tab Knock-out this is where you may break the clip. If your car is garage stored that's good to keep the fitting warm. There should be directions in your manual.

In your AUDI manual, it has detailed instructions with pictures showing you EXACTLY how to remove old wiper blade and put a new one in.

Check your Audi manual index -> wiper blade

or you dont even have ur audi manual??

ya, the clip get broken easily cuz itz made by plastic, I broke mine last month when i tried to push wiper blade out too hard.

Thanks. It's about mid-50's today and my car is in the garage right now. I will give it a try later tonight when I get home.

OK, I checked the user manual and installed blades without issues. However, I still have a question. In the manual, it says for passanger side install the new blade to position C (that is the clip), then slide towards to arrow D. I don't see arrow D in the diagram. I simply aligned the blade to the clip and lock it. Did I miss anything? It seems installed properly.
