Default Loose brake pedal on new a3s?

Anyone out there notice that the brake pedal on their A3 is loose? It's not so loose that it doesn't feel safe but loose enough that you can jiggle it back and forth when your foot is resting but not engaging the brake...

Mine is a brand new 2008 A3 2.0 automatic/s-tronic with only 60 miles on it... I checked with the service department and they showed me another new car on the lot that is exactly the same. They say you can't adjust it. Doesn't this sound odd?

Default RE: Loose brake pedal on new a3s?

I got my 08 A3 almost 3 months ago but I haven't noticed anything you mentioned. However I do have to admit that, compared to my mazda3, A3's brake pedal is much softer. It takes quite a bit of travel for it to fully engage.
