I have water spots on my side mirrors and sunroof that I cannot stand and must get rid of. I have tried water/vinegar mixture and vinegar by itself. Are there any other remedies or products (that work....) that I can try?

There are two categories of water spot- a) Stage One Corrosion [: defined as a surface with light to moderate corrosion damage to the paint surface] b) Stage Two Corrosion [: definition when the dirt/corrosion deposits are no longer on the surface but have started to break down the molecular structure, leaving an etched or white haze on the surface after the stain has been removed, with moderate to serious paint damage] Removal of Water Spots - http://www.detailuniversity.com/forums/school-exterior-detailing/1862-removal-water-spots.html

Prepare a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar. Soak a towel in the mixture and wipe down the area, making sure to keep it wet. Drape the towel on the area for a few minutes so that it stays in contact with the surface. Repeat the above process for severe spots. For larger areas such as glass shower doors, pour the mixture into a plastic spray bottle. Spray the mixture onto the glass, wiping frequently with the towel to help break down the limescale deposits. Rinse and squeegie the area clean. Then buff dry with a clean cloth. Remove faucet aerators and shower heads periodically and soak them in vinegar. A brush will help to loosen stubborn deposits. ___________________ Radiator Hose Accessories
