Default Southbendclutch vs. Specclutch

Alright guys I'm looking to upgrade my stock/original clutch on my new project car and need some advice. I ran a Spec stage three on my old ride and found the pedal feel to be ****ing lame. I heard many wonderful things about southbend, too include 'free strippers with purchase', their relative stock pedal feel, and long term usage. I am looking for another stage three but wanted to get some input before I purchase... If anyone knows a good rep at Southbend please let me know. May the debate begin.

I've heard nothing but bad things about spec, and nothing but good things about southbend clutches.

You can PM Jeff on audizine, he's who I talked to when I bought my sb stg 3. It's not installed yet so I can't tell you how it feels though.

Southbend uses better parts. I seen way more spec clutches eating themselves to make me want to use them

Thanks for the input guys. I sourced a stage three kit here http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/home.htmlbut I believe it was an organic compound and I'm not sure if that is good or bad, any wisdom? Also wondering if the AWE kits -SB- are worth the $$$$$$$?

You can get that or the stg4 from kineticmotorsport.com. The stg4 is a 6puck if you want that. However the stg3 organic should last a bit longer

i have a SB clutch, even though i love it, it slipped very bad today, which means ill probably send it back, and get a stage 3 or 4 and pay the difference, since they have a warrentee.

but either way, ill stick with SB

Well it sounds like I will go with the stage three setup due to my future gt28rs setup. The old car was sold due too FWD... Nothing like 250 fwhp and smoking through first and second before it hooks up... STUPID
