So something around my turbo is acting up. I know it's not a blown turbo, because I can still boost to 20psi (but for some weird reason, it seems to be holding 18-19psi instead of 15-16 [&:]), so it's something around that general area. Whenever I take it to more than 10psi, I hear a squealing-whining noise, sort of like a mouse squeaking. I have trouble boosting at all past 10psi as quickly as I used to, and there's no more feeling in the turbo. It seems to just gradually accelerate, instead of exploding like it used to. (Okay, it's a K03, so it doesn't explode... but relative to what it's doing now, it sure felt a hell of a lot better). I don't think I'm losing boost pressure (as I can still hold what I normally hold, just the turbo sounds like Kemp's whiney voice) so what should I do to determine if I have anything wrong? I'm going to go outside in a couple of minutes and check all of my turbo outlet/wastegate connections and make sure there's no vacuum leak somewhere
But first, I need to sit here and enjoy this:
Chocolate-brownie fudge muffin with strawberry and blueberry ice cream, topped off generously with caramel-sundae sauce and whip cream.
