Default So my car is still down

I blew out my ignition module and now my car idles like crap. Check engine light comes on and the car dies out. Had the codes read and it came back as P1545 or 17953 which is the throttle poss control malfunction. My mechanic is saying hes not sure if thats the throttle position sensor and he also said it if it was that the dealer would need to reprogram something for everything to work again. Please advise me on what to do I am more than dissapointed with this car and would never buy an audi again after this experiance so please help me change this memory of my audi!

Do you have access to a VAG COM? Check the throttle angle, it shouldn't be over 3%. Our cars are notorious for developing carbon build up on the throttle valve and intake valves. Take off the intake hose and clean the TB with some brake cleaner, and change the ICM of course. You shouldn't be driving the carn with a bad ICM anyway, your just gonna damage the cat that way.
