Default New 01 A4 1.8t 5sp

Hi Audi owners,
Bought a 2001 A4 1.8t 5sp w/83k last week. I put nearly 250mi on and it runs great so far. Has had the timing belt changed and everything else is stock. With gas prices edging up just wondering what kind of mileage can I expect with 80% hwy driving. The only problems I noticed is when I fill the windshield washer res it end ups leaking 3/4 of it out, it it hard to replace the res or is it a leaking hose to the windshield or headlight washers. I will check it out more this weekend when I change the oil. I plan on putting Mobil 1 10w-40 syn in it to have it ready for summer. I already bought mahle oil filters from PureMS. Any comments welcome.

welcome, sounds like you know what your doing. as for the windshield wiper res. i would just look around for any leaks and then clamp them or worst case, you might need a new res but I doubt they'd be that expensive

Welcome. I have the same year/model. Average 30 mpg, with 80 to 90% highway driving.
