I don't have a manual but was wondering if you had tried Duct tape. Do not use Duck tape as the ducks get really mad when you try to remove it because it hurts when there feathers are torn out.

This is no joke people. I rank this problem right up there with blown turbos, MMI issues and other catastrophic failures. I just don't see how others can drive around for years with their manual stowed in their tray (unbeknownst to them that they even have a manual) while I can't go 10 seconds without it falling at my feet. If I can't get this issue resolved, I fear I will have to dump this car on craigslist. Maybe I have a lemon? What's wrong with my tray? Why me god?

take your owners manual and throw it in a drawer somewhere. otherwise there are clips inside the sleeve area. i dont know if you can bend them down more or not. otherwise stuff more **** in there and jam it in there.

Mine fit snuggly, but it became too much of a nuisance to keep in there. I keep it in the glove box.

this is an audi. not a gremlin. do not duct tape anything on your car. put more stuff in there. if this really is a big problem then there isnt a prooblem with the car its the driver and their idiosyncrasies.

I thought this might be the case. I knew it couldn't possibly be the fine piece of German engineering that is the Audi A6. Wait a second...IT IS ME...isn't it? I can't do anything right. GOD I'M STUPID! Either that or I'm short . Don't worry. I would never duct tape my car, though I have thought about masking tape. It is a very underrated tape, and is cheaper than duct tape.
