Getting a Thud

I have been trying to figure out this thud for a long time now. If I am cruising and let off of the gas and reapply, there is a "thud" sound, driveline slop. There was a previous thread that about it that died. I have replaced the snub mount with the APR. I also replaced the passenger side transmission mount. I have the drivers side but I am going to need a little more time to get that replaced. (Need to heat the bolt, maybe PB blaster or something)I didnt notice any leaking fluid from my motor mounts. Is there a possibility that the driver side tranny mount will make all that difference in the slop? Or is it possible that the motor mounts are just beat?

Thanks for the help

Alright guys, just figure I'd bump this up to see if anyone found anything.

As of now I have replaced:

Motor mounts
Snub mount
Transmission mounts
Apikol rear differential mount
Rear differential stabilizer bushings

I still get the thud, and Im not sure where else it could be coming from. I think it may be the driveshaft at this point. The center u-joint was solid as a rock when i checked it. The rubber around the center support bearing looked like it has slid and it was fairly soft.

I just want the car to drive nicely again. Wheel bearings, control arms, and new suspension are all in order too :/

I'm amazed at how many threads there are on this topic lately. Seems a bunch of us are having very similar issues.

Now, if we could just find a cure....

a loud thunk when you let off the accelerator is often the rear diff carrier bushings. of none of the other mounts are damaged, i would be looking there.

my opinion

Why do I think the manual transmission needs a tranny mount near the output shaft?

The only other thing I can think of is one (or some) of the driveshafts. Possibly a CV has some serious play in it? I just replaced the drivers side front because the CV was dry and sloppy.
