I have a B6 2003 A4 1.8T Q and I would like to fit a Audi Sat Nav system, can someone please clarify which ones can i fit, RNS-D or E or both?
Also other than one being CD based and the other DVD what are the main differences to the user of the system?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, I would like to know if you can put in an OEM NAV system instead of after market ones. I'd like my dash to look stock.

Besides the required antennae for GPS...are the wiring harness on the stock radio system compatible with the OEM NAV system for the B5 or B6 platform?

Bump... I am also curious what it would take to install a OEM Nav system. I have a 2004 S4 with the bose system btw

The RNS-E will fit in B6 and should be plug and play (just need a RNS-E adaptor), but do a search, plenty of folks have done it.

I put in a Kenwood DNX5120. I love it. I'm not sure what the Audi Nav looks like but the KW looks really nice. You can make the lights any color so they match the dash perfectly. It's HD based, which is better than CD or DVD. I have a DVD full of MP3S that I leave in the drive. The maps can be upgraded thru a DVD - then put the MP3 DVD back for lotsa of music. It also plays DVD movies - which isn't too useful while you're driving, but if you have back seat LED screens, kids in the back can watch a movie while you're driving.

I have an '03 Quattro that had a Symphony double din radio/CD/Cassette. Don't know if you have double din or not.
