Default Lip Spoiler Installation

I just received a B6 lip spoiler for my 03' A4 1.8T. I actually thought it was supposed to be in the form of firm plastic but it seems like it is able to bend and itt has the self-adhesive on the bottom of the lip. When I tried fitting it on my trunk, it looks like -- without bending -- the spoiler extends to the taillights on both sides. Am I supposed to bend it slightly while installing it so it covers only the trunk? What are some good tips to position it right?

Default RE: Lip Spoiler Installation

You need to bend it to match the curvature of your trunk, it should line up near perfectly with edges, maybe a small gap on each side. It takes a little time to get it perfect but once do you will like the look. To answer your questiom, no it should not go over the tails at all.
