im new to audi cars.
was looking at my fluids and noticed i was running low on engine coolant.
read the manual and said it used g12.
knowing i probaly wouldnt find it i tried autozone and guess what i didnt find it.
is the dealer the only place to get the g12

places like ecstuning.com should have it.

i went to the dealership and they put coolant in my car for free they toped it off

Have you checked for leaks too? Maybe one of the reasons why you're low in coolant. If there is a leak, I'd check the back of the Engine for some dried up coolant residue. If there is, you might a have a coolant flange leak...

now thats got to be a 1st

It's usually the O-ring (gasket) that's damaged. But it's best to replace the flange and o-ring together. In most cases, the flange gets damaged along with the o-ring anyway...
