Default Want your 2 Cents...

Just got back from the “sand box” and I have a few $$$ to upgrade. I have a 2005 A4 1.8T Q Automatic.

How does this sound?
Carbino Intake
Forge 007 DV
Forge Turbo Inlet
Magnaflow Exhaust
Also, REVO chip will be coming shortly.

Should I go another way or do you suggest a different part? I THINK I’ve read all the Newbie stuff and this is what I’ve come up with. Like I said your 2 cents will be greatly appreciated.

Those are my exact mods minus the forge turbo inlet.... Don't waste your money on the carbino intake, it sounds cool and looks good under the hood but it was absolutely the biggest wast of money I have spent on my car. Does nothing performance wise. Spend that 300+ on tinted windows if you havent done that yet, upgrade HID Bulbs or put it twoards a suspension if you havent done that either...Thats my 2 cents for ya...

skip the carbino, get a K&N then go APR +1 and spend the carbino money on tt255 injectors

other then that it's good.

intake = waste of $, ZERO hp gains, just noise
why revo?get apr 1+ or giacFX with the $ you saved from not buying the intake, PM manguyen on audizine for OEM tt225 386cc injectors
forge 007= tried and true, good choice
I hear a lot of people like magnaflow exhaust, i would get a full kit myself that includes downpipe like thermal or neuspeed
forge TIP is definitely worth it as well

So is the Forge 007. Go with a stock 710N... They hold up quite well, do the job nicely and they are CHEAP!!!!!!! Who cares about a WHOOSH sound
