When did the dash gauge lighting change from red to white? And I wonder if it's possible to make the dash a bit brighter? Another thing is it seems like the car does not have ESP? Was it something that was an option?

Traction control was only an option on the FWD versions of the B5. I have a 2000 A4 and the gauge lighting is red, I was under the impression that all audi's had red gauge lighting.

I was under the impression as well all of them had red as well and the car is AWD and is a 2.8
