I've read several posts about sunroof being stuck open or in partial open/closed position. Mine is stuck closed and there is NO noise of any sort when I attempt to open it. I've found the manual crank spot; just wondering since there is no noise, is it most likely the motor? sorry if this topic has been covered, I'm new to the group.

I'm assuming that you checked the fuse for the sunroof (swap another one in, don't rely just on eyeballing the fuse - it could blow potentially in a way that you don't notice it). If that's not it, maybe crank it open by hand and inspect the rails to see if something came loose, or off. Or it could be that the motor is blown, although I don't think I've ever seen anyone else post that (not that it couldn't happen).

Headliner has to come down?

Im guessing that the whole headliner has to come down. i know you have to do it with bmw's..
