I am so frickin pissed off right now because I just realized that someone stole my 18" wheels and tires out of my storage unit in my apartment building! ASSHOLES! I realize that I was pretty stupid because I didn't have a a lock on the door, but the downstairs is locked and only tenants can get in and it's a small apartment building, only 10 apts. And I know some of the people in there wouldn't have done it, becuase they are like older men/women. They had to of been taken less than a week ago becuase I was just down there not that long ago. Stupid bastards, why can't you get a frickin job like the rest of us and make your own god damn money! Is it even worth filing a police report?

Definitely file a police report, just to get it on the r ecord. Call your landlord, report it....go through all the proper channels. Then, since there is no way that the proper channels will work, kick some ass. Do a little snooping and I bet you can figure out who did it. Wait for them, with a baseball bat and some friends or whatever (insert bad idea here). Whatever you choose to do I am sory for your loss, that is fucked up, but next time lock that shit up man.
If it makes you feel any better even if it was locked, when they want to get in, they are getting in. When things are locked is merely when more damage is going to occur. If it was coincidental and they tried the door, found it was unlocked and went in; yes locking would have helped. Bottom line is you will never know, file the report and call your homeowners insurance since these items were not on your vehicle. Technically this is a burglary report, a storage unit is considered along the lines of a dwelling.
