ghetto @$$ aolution to ripped leather
well heres something intersting, i know aot of have rips or tears in our leather but not much we can do about it, a few days ago i was a murry auto parts and i noticed black liquid electrical tape. i was intersing, black like my leather, flexible, wont crack or peel. so i bought it, i had some free time last night so i took some of the heat shield i had lying around and cut into a small piece that i could put under my leather (had tape but but heated seat literally burned it), got some painters tape and did a quick patch on the huge hole i had, and started with the first coat, i did about 5-6 coats with 30 minutes in between each coats, it siad to let ti dry atleast 4 hours before use, so i left my windows down to let air in and the aersol smell out, this morning i cant believe what i see, givein you can still see some of the tape but overall its is blended seamlessly to my seat. i really wish i took a before pic but ill definelty post an after pic soon.
