So I am in the process of purchasing an RS4 Body kit for my 96 A4 Quattro. The only problem is that I can't figure out what color the paint is, therefore making it impossible to buy the right paint color for the kit. It's a factory paint job, but most sites don't even list the A4 in any yellow in 96, and some mention Brilliant yellow. Looked at a brillliant yellow a4, and it wasn't the right color. The guys at the dealership said that the paint code for the car based on a VIN check was color "91" but the audi/vw paint site was down, and their books only listed color "97" which is Brilliant Yellow as the yellow color used that year. I am stumped. But again, it is a factory paint job, unless someone decided to gut the entire car inside and out down to the bare frame and chassis, paint the whole thing, then put the whole car back together again. Not a chance. So any techs out there know what yellow color "91" is for a 96 A4 quattro? Thanks for any help! And sorry about not having any pictures. I will get some up shortly if need be.

white pearl is a yellowish color that was used in 96'

Unfortunately that also isn't the color. But I greatly appreciate the help. The guys at the dealership are supposed to call tomorrow morning to let me know what they find out. If I'm still stuck, I'll definitely PM you and see if your buddy can find anything out for me, because frankly, I'm stumped. I thought maybe it was brilliant yellow and it has faded a lot, but there are no fade spots, the whole car inside and out is this uniform color. I will take pictures tomorrow and post them, maybe it is brilliant yellow after all and It just doesn't look like the other ones I've seen. I'll keep you posted.
