I didn't get a L model. from what I read the only difference is 6 inches of rear leg room. Some articles said the the A8 handled better than the A8L.  The L package also adds a couple thousand. be careful with your flip out MMI screen some people will see it, think its a touchscreen and try to put their hands on it make sure they dont push on it or anything because mine got hit then it start making a weird clicking noise when it came up then i had to replace the motor that was $800.
