Engine oil light coming on now engine is ticking
 

For the past few days my engine oil light keep coming on so I checked my oil level and it was ok. but , i added a quart of oil just to make sure it wasnt low. But Yesterday when i started the engine is was ticking and not just the ordinary tick when you first start the engine, its was pretty loud and sounded like a diesel engine. Please if their is anyone that can tell me whats going on here id really appreciate it. Sounds like a valve is bent or lifter or something. I need help!!!

i know this is old but WTF!!!!!! y would u add more oil when it says full!!!!??????? its just as bad to run it low as it is to fun it over full!!!! u have probably spun a bearing.... ur screwed and very much a dumb ass
