Default S4 dash kit-no work

Hi I'm pretty new to the site but I have been searching all over for an answer but I'm very confused. I am just looking for a dash kit that will allow me to put in an aftermarket headunit, but with no modifications. I have heard of several ones that are close but do not fit perfectly (A6, metra kit). Is there anything that is a direct fit? Also what about the wiring harness. I know this has been discussed many times, but I am confused.

Get these:

Metra 99-9105 Audi dash kit
Metra 70-1787 Audi/VW Amplified harness
Metra 40-VW54 Amplified antnna adapter

I am installing a Pioneer AVIC D3 into my car tomorrow. I had to order teh 9105 and 1787 from crutchfield. I will let you know how the install goes tomorrow. Plus I will take a lot of pictures.

Yep those are all right. I installed an Alpine IVA-W205 with those and it went perfectly.

Thanks for the quick reponses guys. So the metra dash kit does fit in perfectly? Also so then would there be any difference if it was a flip out dvd player? Godowninflames: do you have any pics? Paintball guy: def keep us updated on installw/ pics if possible.

There shouldn't be any difference if its a flip out DVD player. Depends on if it single DIN or double DIN radio. But the Metra kit I bought came with both pieces that would allow you to use either one, single or double. I acutally had to do a little modifying of the plastic housing in order to get my flip out to fit perfectly. Also the little storage compartment that came with mine wanted to pull out easily. So I played around with that to get it to stick in better. But after all that said, I think the Metra kit fits perfectly and looks great in the dash. Good Luck.
