Default Decided to go BT .... t3s60 vs gt28r vs gt28rs

So I want to put in a bigger turbo and I need yor help! I currently have "2000 A4 1.8TQM sport package, GIAC chip"

To make it cost effective enough that I am willing to sink my money into it, I have to do the work myself (looking to spend $3000, I'd like to spend less!!!! But I have more if nessasary). Here's where I need help.

I want a great 0-60 time not huge hp and highspeeds (hence no massive BT). I want a turbo that I can install AND MAINTAIN! myself(only a little experience here)! SO:
Which of these turbo's should I choose for the best 0-60 times/good response(less lag)/reliability down the road/ AND EASE OF INSTALL FOR A NOOB
t3s60 vs gt28r vs gt28rs

I know I need some supporting things, once I sort out which turbo I will post again, but for now is there a good place online to BUY a majority of the stuff I need besides ebay? Also, is there any good DIY and people on this forum who can talk me through parts of the install?

Also, I already have a GIAC chip, it was nice, but not enough for me, is there a GIAC program I can get for the BT, or do I need a whole new chip :|

Thanks,
Glen

All the turbos are going to be the same to install. You are not going to get a gt28rs kit for that price. You can get a t3s60 and gt28r for it however. The gt28r will spool faster but the the t3s60 will make more power. You can source most of the parts from atpturbo.com

lol had to outdo me huh[8D]

i'd say go with a t3t4 50 trim .48 a/r. sourced properly it will be very cheap (see the parts section from my guide), make more power than the t3s60 and spool only slightly later. and if your willing to sacrifice a little more spool you can get a .63 and make even more power. kinetic has a sale going on right now too. so now would be the best time to start picking up pieces of the setup. you cant reuse GIAC but you can try selling it in the classifieds for cash + stock ecu and make a little something back.

Of course, tried to make it as clear as possible for everyone.

THe 50trim is bigger than what he wants. Talking with him previously, he wants something with very little lag and to be able to keep up with a S4 so he doesnt have to trade in his car for one. A chipped S4 runs high 13's to low 14's depending on the driver and he can get there and then some with a gt28r/rs or t3s60.
