Hey guys, this is my new post so show me some love :). I have an Audi a4 3.0 stock, it served me well for a while, but now I need moree. I want to turbocharge my car. I've heard though, from some of my friends that this wouldn't be such a great idea due to turbo-lag, etc. I've also been thinking about switching my exhaust to give the car a little boost and some more noise. Can I get some feedback on this guys? (How much turbocharging my car would cost, would it be effective, etc.)

You will need a ton of custom fab work, twin turbos, and standalone ecu. If you want lots of boost, rebuild the engine. You are going to be in above $10k for everything.

Well, I've know for guys to run and single turbo on three cylinders on the 2000-2005 V6 Eclipses and have no problems, but when I think about it, the ECU for the A4 probably doesn't have the reflash option does it?.
PES does make Superchargers for the V6.

This would be expensive. But, you could run 2 smaller turbos, a standlone, keep the boost low, and wait till later to redo the motor. I see no reason why this couldnt be done effectivly without a motor rebuild for under 5k. But, no offense.... You dont seem to be the DIY type, so Cincy is absolutly right.
