Never really been active on a car forum or anything, but I needed some advice and I thought, hey, why not?

I have an A4 (2007) - I've had it for about a year now. I'm a sophomore at the University of Miami, and eighteen years old.

As I was pulling up to a driveway this afternoon I hit the car next to me (front passenger side). The other car is in pretty good shape. My car did not receive any dents either, but the headlight is considerably scratched (that roughness it gets when scraped against something).

Well yeah, I was wondering if anyone knew of any places to buy Audi headlights. I also wanted to know the price range more or less. I was also wondering about switching over to HIDs as I've never really liked the yellowish tinge the lights give off.

I think I'm going to take my car in to get detailed after that.

I would greatly appreciate a response.

Thanks : ]

welcome, before you go spend hundreds of dollars on a new headlight...consider this... you can wetsand the lens and then buff it to get rid of the scratches if it is not that bad. some pics could help to figure that one out. It's a relatively easy process but some what time consuming. I'll look for the DIY I saw the other day and see if I can find it.

So I would see if you can fix it before going out and getting a new one (because they are not gonna be cheap, especially from a dealer)(at least 400 probably)

check out VVME for some HID kits.

also do you go to Miami Ohio or Miami Florida? just a random question.

Hi Will.  I hope you don't mind that I'm writing you--I don't have an answer to your question.  I see that you have a 2007 Audi A4--I'm looking to purchase a certified one within the next couple of months, but don't know anybody that owns one.  How do you like the Audi?  Are you happy with it overall so far?  Have you had any promblems/issues?  I test drove an '08, and was impressed.  It's a really nice looking car...Anyways, any feedback you could provide would be greatly appreciated.  I have looked around on-line for consumer reports on it, but have not found too much...Thanks for any opinions you can provide..
