front door wont close

for some reason the latch in my passenger door wont stay down and the door wont stay closed!!! Does anyone know how to fix this??

Its the electrical door latch, not a cheap part by any means either.
Somewhere in the range of $300-$400 just for the part.

I checked on price for new latch Thank you for letting me know...yes they are very expensive...turns out it was a part sticking causing it not to latch shut..???!!! a lil wd40 did the trick. :-)
