2000 A6 2.7T with the 6 speed manual transmission.  Time for a timing belt change and I have all the parts and rented the appropriate tools but I cant find the radiator drain plug that is supposed to be under on the drivers side.  I can't find it!  I am stuck.  Any explaination or pics would help.  I need to get her back on the road soon.  Thanks.

can you pull a radiator hose and empty it that way?  Ive replaced radiators that had the stupid plug rusted on, and I just pulled the lower hose and whooosh all the fluid comes out.... just a thought if you cant find it.

That should work just fine.  The hose clamp may need to be replaced though...

pull off one of the lower hoses and empty it that way, I have always done that when replacing a radiator just make sure you move anything electrical.
