owner for 2 days of a 2001 audi A6, 2.7T. didnt think it would be so hard to find aftermarked parts. want to stay classy but needs .

wasnt finished but the dial-up internet and i arent getting along and fists were flying thus the premature enter.
can get all mods done locally but i want to find a garage that had some hands onknowledge on the 2.7, not just a good machanic. The above location were from goarp.com for the close location.
Ive had the car for 6 months now (stock) and getting sick of the tone/ my friend who's daddy bought her little girl a s4.
Its an 01 with 105k so am I wrong to think if i do the mods right and take good care (warm up and cool down) its not going to kill my turbo. im aware its going to take miles off the life, but how much?
Also any advise is appreciated, mod path or anything
