Default Couple of questions about dv's and pulleys....

- What spring am i supposed to use??? i got Forge 007p's... it came with a set of springs in em, as well as 2 other sets

also, im about to do a timing belt.....

- has anyone put light weight pulleys on???I was thinking of doing this since i would have everything out of the way... but wasnt sure...

- has anyone used ecs's ultimate or ultimate plus timing belt kit??? Good... bad?? Thoughts

Thanks,

No idea on the DV springs, but from what I've read here, the lightweight pulleys really don't do anything for your car, and the concensus seems to be that it's money better spent elsewhere. As for the t-belt kit, it's got everything you'll need, which is nice - one-stop shopping is the best choice in this case.

It should have the identical effects as losing weight off your flywheel. You lose almost 3 lbs with the new pulley; that's pretty considerable.
ECS is still running that sale that makes the pulley 70 bucks with the purchase of a timing belt kit; I'd definitely take advantage of that if I was already doing the timing belt.

use the green spring and dont get a lightweight pulley. no noticeable gains (maybe 2hp at the crank, but you can't even feel that) and it can potentionally cause problems
