Hello.
My name is joe and I am an addict...
wait, wrong introduction...
my name is joe, however i'm newbie to the euro scene. I have not purchased one yet. I have been in a great debate personally over the B6 A4 or the E46 330I, and I've decided my next car will be an A4. I Currently own a 2004 Cavalier LS Sport Coupe. I have added an AEM Intake, Magnaflow High flow cat, thrush glasspack and Tenzo muffler with 2.25" piping. Also recently purchased 18x8 Falken wheels with some Falken tires. I have taken a lot of crap being a cavalier owner now for almost five years. Three different cars, an 90 RS 2.2 Auto to go to and from school in. Paid 1000 cash and sold a year later and 25k extra on the ticker for 2000 cash. go me. my second was a 99 Z24 5spd which was the first car I "modded" with some 17x7 wheels and some mostly aesthetic pieces like powder coating an IDI cover and relocating the battery to the trunk. My 04 LS i've had for about a year and a half now and i bought it because the stock bottom end on the ecotec motor it has is much better then the LD9 the Z had. That motor's oiling system droppes pressure after about 6k rpm as a result of being a half breed remake of the Quad 4 the oldsmobiles had in the early 90s. I have been keeping my eye on the euro scene for about 2 years now and have decided that audi is the manufacturer i want to buy from. Shortly befor my decision though my fiance' bought an 06 VW Jetta 2.5 5 spd and the car quality compared to anything made in america is what made my decision for me.
I am a 23yr old male and I live just east of St. Louis MO. I am a machinist by trade working for Sunnen Products Co. who is a manufacturer of various engine rebuilding machines and tooling.
I am getting married in september. and i think that is just about everything I have to say about myself. any thing you want to ask and go ahead. i'm very open minded and will answer almost any questions you may have for me. However I get the feeling I'll be asking more questions then anything for a while.
