Hi

I recently got the alternator replaced by a rebuilt bosh alternator. Since then, when the car is cold started (like in the morning after a night rest) the voltage indicates 12V. If I press on the accelerator to increase the RPM to 2000, the voltage gets back to the normal 16V. Sometimes on warm starts it gets to 16V without having to increase the RPM. However most of the time I have to increase the RPM to get it back to 16V.

I am puzzled, What could be the cause?
