Hello guys, I have been looking for hours all over the internet to find the oil capacity on a 6 speen manual transmission of the A6 2.7T. I want to replace the oil with redline or maybe the GM/Pennzoil Synchromesh (I have heard this stuff does miracles if your synchros are not working properly). There no much information online about the A6 Biturbo and the 6 speed manual tranny.

Please... if I drain the oil on my 6 speed manual tranny... HOW MANY QUARTERS DO I NEED TO FILL IT UP AGAIN??? Thanks! [;)]

2.4 quarts of SAE75W90 for the tranny, Rear Final Drive 2.01 quarts

thanks for your response! but wait, thats it? so just 2 bottles of 1qt (946ml) and just half of a 3rd one?

About the final drive..  I would need 2 extra extra quarts for it? should I drain it from a hole different than the tranny one?

That is correct!  I got that info last night on my Bentley manual (DVD).
The final drive has its own fill and drain plugs.
