   I OWN AN AUDI A6 ( 2001 2.8L  6 CILINDERS ) AND I WISH I HAVE MORE HORSES UNDER THE HOOD
I WOULD LIKE TO INCREASE THE HORSE POWER BY ABOUT 100 MORE HORSES
BESIDES THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MUCH MONEY TO
SPEND ( ABOUT 5 GRANDS ) CAN SOMEBODY OUT THERE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE?
                                                                                       THANKS

Other than a supercharger system there is nothing available for the 2.8. The 2.7T is the A6 of choice for those who want to modify!

Sorry but there is nothing out there for the 2.8

OOOO

Trade your car in on a 2.7t. Five grand ought to cover it.

Take tha t5 grand, and trade you 2.8 in for a 2.7T S-Line. That would be the sex.

i thought it gave it about 100hp, on the pes website it says 295hp, the 2.8 puts out about (estimated at 200 but i'll say)193-195hp

I don't think I could ever go from an A6 to an S4 without still owning the A6.... I'm addicted to the space.

if you use VAGCOM to reprogram the computer to think its an a4, the 2.8 becomes more responsive and nimble

GIGI I LOVE YOUR NEW SIGNATURE. good pic
The Vag-com is "Diagnostic Software for European Automobiles" Mostly cars under the VW group. You can check your cars diagnostics and change things too, such as programing and reprograming your key, tranny, Check your CEL. Look it up on Wikipedia.

I'm looking into getting one myself on Ebay.

Thanks! here's the full size pic....
sad thing is, after I put in thousands in it, I might be selling it :) :( and get a new car in the fall

BTW I just got in on a GB for a VAG tool that will do most of what the vagcom does, it is on a color palm so much easier to transport and keep in the car! $200 shipped check it our on Audizine.

They are trhe RS4 DTM wheels, Hartmann.
No S5 for me, it looks good, I do like it... but 1) it is too small 20 it does not have turbos 3) it is to heavy and too much of a gT car... I'd take the 335 before the S5, it is faster and more nimble, feels sportier to drive. But anyway, being the father of many and having kids in my car often, driving it to vacation spots long distance with 3 kids and luggage.. I need room and not a coupe unfortunately. So I was thinking of an 03 RS6  but they are so expensive to maintain, getting old, have fussy suspension... I am thinking of buying the new A4, 09 model when it comes out, and as a wagon :) silver, 6 spd, chip, full exhaust, drop, wheels, tint.... call it a day! could even put the dogs in the back ;) it'll handle great and much roomier inside than current A4;s

True, it all depends on your lifestyle. I've seen you on cardomain so I forgot about the family. Im 17 just to mention (dont want to sound like a creeper about the fam) but I hope Ill be able to enjoy life like you one day. With the way things are going these days it seems it just a dream. I love the RS6 and would get one in a heartbeat but I could only imagine how much it would cost to maintain it. The new A4's are beautiful. I've seen some tuned by MTM and I was sold when I saw it.
