Default Debadging tonight ((PICS ADDED))

Hey guys, I said i was going to keep my Audi stock but the Mod bug has bitten me again. I am debadging tonight. I am also planning these other mods in the next few weeks

Painting my Brake Calipers red. I bought the paint back when I had my Mustang and now am going to use it on my Audi. I have a silver car so i think the red will look quite cool.

I broke one of the housings on my wing mirrors, so i am considering a set of Chrome ones for the S line look

Tinting with 30% all around

LED taillights...

And possibly a fresh coat of paint for the front bumper.

Cool man, debadging is the only thing Ive been able to do to my car (free haha), sucks beign a poor college student. Do you have upgraded wheels? Personally I wouldn't paint the calipers unless I did, also I would be hesitant to paint calipers in a stock brake setup, but again thats just my personal opinion. Chrome mirrors are cool, and tint is a necessity (saving up to do mine).

Return the caliper kit, and exchange it for a can of duplicolor 500 degree paint. You'll get a few bucks back and still have a great finish to the calipers. I spray the paint into the cap, and use a 1" foam brush from Lowe's to apply it (after cleaning them with brake cleaner and a stiff bristle brush). Here's the finished product:

Before:

After (4 coats of paint, no clearcoat):

Gotcha - well if you've already got it and can't take it back, it's not like it's a bad purchase. I was just hoping you got it recently, as you can do the job for less cash is all.

UpstateNYA4, you did an awesome job painting those calipers! One of the best I've seen. [sm=smiley20.gif]
