GDET09 04-19-2008, 01:23 PM Louis, how do you like your Velocity's? I heard about the paint chipping on someone's but what would you say about them? Im seriously considering these. formulagigi 04-19-2008, 10:38 PM Chinese wheels, low finish quality and more prone to crack/break too. But they are cheap... How much do they weigh? GDET09 04-19-2008, 10:48 PM Thanks gigi.Your a huge help around here.I already know about the general problems that might happen but i was just wondering from a customers experiance. louiscolburn 04-19-2008, 11:40 PM GDET-09, The Velocity wheels were kick-ass for the first month; then the paint started chipping. Then after hand washing, I'd notice the paint would flake, and the color underneath the gunmetal finish is WHITE so it's extrememly noticable. I'm pretty sure the wheels weigh around 30lbs a piece. 50% heavier than BBS... But they ARE affordable. You can actually notice the difference in driving with heavier wheels. Good for the winter in Colorado, but more weight to consider esp. when decellerating (going into a turn when exiting the highway). In retrospect, I would haveseriously saved to get better quality. formulagigi 04-19-2008, 11:49 PM Hartman rules for replicas! |
