so my check engine light has been on for the past 2 months, and i know it's only the 02 sensor... but then again..... what needs ot be fixed in order to fix the problem? don't wanna take it to the dealer, they're just gonna charge me up the A$$..... should i take it to an aftermarket shop and have them take care of it? or is it something i can do by myself?

Any help would be appreciated.

Modset that was ME!!!! haha. Yeah look up "O2 sensor DIY" I'll try to find bump it to the top for you. I actually had a very very hard time with mine. I ended up loosing the o2 sensor tool (fell in there somewhere) so I gave up, but it was serioulsy welded in there and would not budge... Its deffinatly do-able, but I couldn't do it.

use some PB Blaster on it, let it sit for about 10 minutes and it should come right out. Also, i wrapped duct tape around the socket end and the extension bar to keep the socket from falling off. hope this helps!
