RE: a6 2.8 l is it the same as the vr6 - 4/21/2008 5:38:50 PM    frankinstyn Posts: 151 Joined: 2/26/2007 Status: online No,  the VR6 has one head and less valves per cylinder.  The V6 is a true v6 in the sense that it has two heads.  While the 2.8 VR6 has less power than the 2.8 V6,  all other versions of the VR6 are a little more efficient than the audi V6 (in reply to airsky48) Post #: 2
