Default 96 euro spec trunk in 99.5

was just wondering if anyone knew if the 96 A4 euro style trunk is a direct plug-n-play for 99.5 A4's. IE is there anything else different between them (like the 96 lacking the holes for the carpet liner or emergency kit bolted to the underside) and the 99.5 US spec trunk besides the plate space.

Thanks for any input.

wouldnt last long having a euro plate in the rear. Having a trunk that only accepts one kind of puts you in a corner too.

Yes it is a direct plug and play.

The "euro" trunk from the 96 A4 can fit a euro plate or a US plate. I've seen some who put on a euro plate and then their state issued plate on top.

and then installed on my customers S4 which lives in Sweden.

I don't have to worry about spending money on a 96 trunk Now if only I could find a decently priced VR6T then I'd be a happy little 12v'er (I'm hoping in a few years once I can afford another car to do this so please don't tempt me with any real offers)

And yeah I've been thinking about running a rear Europlate and then putting strong magnets or something on my real plate and having that sit over the Euro.(but I'd be afraid someone would steal my plates)

We list them for $775 + shipping, but I can give forum members a $25 discount or $100 off for a GB of 10 people.

On our site we offer a CF frame option for an extra $150 and the trunk can also be ordered in full fiber glass for $550.
