Default How to you remove the spark plugs in an Audi A4 1996

Can anyone please tell me how do I remove the spark plugs?
I know where they are located but I cant figure out how to remove the cables; in order to reach them.

easy just follow the little wire from the front of the engine (they sit on top at the front, you can't miss them)and they terminate into the head, pull on them to remove the wires and then use a socket wrench and unscrew the spark plugs (I'd suggest you don't have the car turned one and use a rubberized socket made for spark plugs), then you remove them.

Hey thank you!
I tried that but they are very hard to remove, is that normal?
Should I just pull them really hard with my hand? or Do i need any special tool to remove the cables?

yeah just apply some pressure, they have a little silver sleeve that goes over the spark plug so they will be longer. Give me a minute and I'll pull up a picture real quick


so I saw your post in the A4 section but here is the pick anyway, sorry for the kinda artsy effect one it but it was for art class so you know.
