I dont have the panel for the fuses in my car, and I know the fuse is out for my center brake light, can any one send me a pic of the fuse panel directory or help. I have a 98 A6 quattro 2.8

look in your manual for the care there should be a diagram of the fuses towards the back of it

I bought the car and he had no manual, is there anyone that can tell me witch one it is? The center brake light in the back windsheild, I have checked all the lights and they are fine....

i pulled off cover to the panel on the fuses and heres a list of whats what

fuse
#       amps
1         5A         heated washer nozzles
2         10A       turn signal flasher unit
3         5A         lights    (thnis is all it says, im guessing interior lights)
4         5A         license plate light
5         10A        Kl. 15 supply (control unit)......< not a clue!
6         5A         Central locking unit    (power locks i assume)
7         10a       Anti Skid Brake System
8         5A         telephone
9         10A        el. mirrors
10        5A         automatic beam control
11       5A           cruise control
12        10A       diagnostic
13        10A        brake lights

the only thing i can think of is your brake light in the middle is just not working anymore..but i replaced mine with an LED one from a 06 A4 and its great i just had to splice the wires and modify led light its self but it fits perfectly... and i hated the pinkness of the 3rd brake lights.

Hope you got it --- I have same issue with many lights and roof not working--all interior,except center front,dash selector indicator and shift column lights. My real issue is the local Audi dealer won't give me radio code when I offered bothe I D 3's for vehicle and radio. Want's $55 for the info. 97 A6Q has 196K and was serviced there,but since I am new Audi owner--no cash --no Go. I purchased this Jewel well kept because I'm exzperienced in All vehicle maint issues,and know I can get another 200K using The First in Synthetics and filtration. Paid too much at$5K but It Is a Real runner. I have a phantom leak(repaired oiltemp sending unit) yet,and hope it is not seal at engine joint. Sure could use help on radio code,or next step is go for an XM with Cd,MP3 at $125.Too much talk for a newbie?? Sorry.
