Default injectors

So i want some power in my audi. Its a 2003 1.8t I hear alot of talk about injectors and a chip. That should be a sufficentamount of power for an audi right. I dont need a crap load of power just something to make this car a little more reputable. and i dont want to get caught up upgrading every part in the car and spending all my kids college savings. What brand or what type should i get. I just need a little steering in the right direction so a lil help fellas.

^^ for chip... As far as injectors go, you have a few options... Genesis 380cc injectors from USrallyteam.com or OEM TT225 386cc injectors or Siemens-Deka 380cc. Genesis is the cheapest as its aftermarket (should run you around $275 for the set), and the OEM TT225 are more expensive which should run you around $350+ for the set. If you troll around on enough forums, you might be able to catch a set for sale in classifieds, but just to let you know used sets of injectors are a hot commodity and sell really fast on forums... and to state the obvious, youwill consumeabout 12% more fuel than the stock injectors on average.

okay so changing the injectors will make my car suck down more 4.00 gas? I mean power comes with a price i know. So are installing the injectors a fairly simple process. im not to familiar with it. And also with the chip how do i go about getting a new one. Do i send it out and the company sends me a new one do they program it to the specs in my car and what im running? if you do have a chip how is it working for u.??

Default RE: injectors

Ok, I am also a new owner of a 2005 Audi A4 1.8T. I just purchased a APR Stage 1 Chip and I love it, I loved it so much that I found some OEM Audi TT225 injectors online for 300 bucks and installed them which tookme like 30 minutes and jumped up to APR Stage 1+ kit. so for around 800 bucks I jumped my numbers to 229HP and 271TQ, thats a +59HP and +105TQ increase. Igot aitg filter but im gonna upgrade to and intake soon, i also have been looking at exhaust but can't decide between the APR sport or the AWE exhaust. Well this is whatI have done so far, let me know what you decide and what kind of numbers you get.

Injectors took like 30 minutes to installas stated, and it was very easy to do.Yes it will take more fuelI range between 300 - 400 miles per tank about 24MPG but i get on it alot. As for the ECU the APR chip and i think most others they can just reflash the ecu which takes about 15 minutes. With the APR chip you get free upgrades, like i went from stage 1 to stage 1+ for free and when i upgrade to a k04 they will upgrade it free also. As for your question i did answer your first post I didn't hit on your second one till now. I love my chip and it was well worth the money!!!
