stereo removal
 

Ok so im curious.. I just ordered a dash kit, wiring kit, and headunit for my A6

but I dont have the keys to remove the original headunit... does anyone have a description/picture of what the keys look like? I searched on here, and did a bit on ebay and such and im finding all kinds of different ones that are for a6s... so im really confused lol

any help on what these look like, or where to get them is much appreciated!

You can get them from walmart. just pick the european stereo keys the handles may be different but the ends that go in the head unit will resemble this:

you'll need 4 keys. so probably 2 packs. they're only 4 bucks or something like that. what head unit did you get?

Nice!.... thanks, you rock... did not know they had them at walmart

I ended up getting an Alpine digital reciever... I have an iPod and dont listen to CDs that much, so there is really no reason to have a cd player lol ... but one of the major selling points was that all the buttons match the lights in the dash on the a6 lol

ok, so just curious.. for anyone with an ipod cable.. where exactly did you run the cable to?

I was thinking glove box, but im pretty sure I would have to but out a small hole, as there is no break in the lining... what did everyone else do?
