Coolant leaks ---- My first post
This is my first post on this forum, hope I can find the answer.
Found leaks as per attached photo, anyone ever encounter this, and how do you fix it? With picture will be highly appreciated. |
RE: Coolant leaks ---- My first post
Looks like a seal is probably corroded... try to take off that "cap" and see if there was a seal/gasket there, if so replace it... the leak doesn't look that serious anyways

RE: Coolant leaks ---- My first post
How to take the cap off the pipe or any tricks included.
I tried to unscrew it off but it seems the cap didn't even move andtends to break. |
RE: Coolant leaks ---- My first post
Just twist it and break off wat you can. Then drill out the center of the screw with a smaller size bite not the damage the threads on the pipe. then pick out the remaining pieces and put and new coolant bleeder screw.

Thanks AudiTech616.
by the way do you know the part number of the Coolant bleeder screw, so I can prepare one before breaking it. |
RE: Coolant leaks ---- My first post
Sorry don't know the part #. But the dealer should know what your talking about when you ask for it. It's common for those screws to leaks.
