It's not the standard OBD II in an Audi  It requires a special tool and sofeware.. Do a search on VAGCom to learn about it.. BTW - The connector is in the center of the console under a little cover - just infron to f the cup holder.

Hi NH,  thanks for the response. i looked in front of the cupholders and my differential button is there. is that it?
