Default Why is 2000 2.7t "Dreaded"?

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forum but, have read that my 2000 2.7t 6M Quattro is "Dreaded". I have only been looking around for about an hour or so but, have only found out that this year has a "small interior oil line" for the turbos.

What is it about the 2000 that is problematic? I've had my 2000 since 2002 and have no issues. I'm at the point where I am debating selling it so, any information that you have to explain the issues with the 2000 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
2000 2.7t 6M Quattro Black

Im not sure .
My buddy HAD a 2000 2.7t 6MT. He bought it with 90,000Kms and then sold it after 35,000Kms.
I dont think he had any serious problems with it though. It seemed like a great car.

Thanks for the response. I've had my 2000 for about 50k miles. No real issues.

Just wanted to know if anyone here had any supporting information for calling the 2000 "Dreaded"....

Thank again,
