staggered 22s on 2001 a8 - 4/27/2008 8:32:58 PM    alboogie200155io   Posts: 2 Joined: 4/27/2008 Status: offline i did the impossible!!!!! 22x9.5 in the front on 255/30s and 22x11 in the rear on 295/25s.  all the custom wheels shop told me i couldnt do without major mods but it bolted right up.  And they dont even rub. I mean a cant get down on the gas like you have your factory's taking curves and **** but in a straight line and most curves you can get down but the downside is you dont have the sidewall so you have to watch out for potholes.  staggered wheels doesnt mess up your transmission its the tires.  you have to be within 3% of the overall diameter of the tire.  I am within 1% since i have 255/30/22 in the front and 295/25/22 in the rear.  All four wheels have to be the same in inches thats it.
