I've been looking for my next ride for some time I check out the G37, G35Xs, Mercedes C350
I got passed on the highway a few weeks ago a car that caught my eye I chased it down and the was the Audi S5.
I went a dealer over the weekend and test drove an A5 auto, I was very impressed with the handling and the crisp action of the auto in sport mode. The exhaust not is music to the ears also and its surely a head turner. Its not as strong as the G37 or G35Xs but it handles like a dream and I really like the styling.
I asked the dealer about ordering one and he stated that it would take 3 to 4 MONTHS?????
Has anyone on the board been able to get one sooner than that time period?
If you order... no. Every dealer I have gone to has said the same thing, you need to wait till June if you ordered one. I ended up asking the dealer to check for the first available red A5 for sale and got it.
Yes, ordering one will take that long, but there are a few 2008 A5's and S5's floating around my local dealerships, and you might find one similarly enough configured to what you want. I think Circle Audi in Long Beach has 2 S5's, and 3 A5's (2 of them manual, 1 of them auto). One has S-Line and the other doesn't. Ask for Frank.
