oil level?
 

can anyone help me with a warning symbol on my 02 3.0 A6? the symbol is an oil can with the word MIN. underneath it. i assumed that my oil level was low, but i checked it and it seems fine. what else could it be and how do i clear it once it's fixed? thanks in advance.

You guessed right on the symbol. I am betting the oil sensor is bad.

that's what i was afraid of. my god these cars have a lot of sensors that go bad. more often than not, when i get a warning, it's the sensor that's bad and not the actual problem it's telling me about. what's the point?

And is it just me or is the black plastic dip stick hard to read?
