I have a 1996 A4 2.8 Qm that I installed a Panasonic CQ-C7301U in. This is not my first headunit install but my first one in a VW/Audi & I am having issues. I used the proper kit & harness as per Metra. The security light comes on (so I believe that it's getting power) but when I put the faceplate on the unit itself doesn't power on. The only variation from the wiring diagram that I made was splicing in the chasis ground to the harness ground. Could that be it? Too much ground be a bad thing? Any help please...
